Fight Fire with Sapphire!

Fellow travellers, we all know what shallow, thoughtless lives reich-wingers lead.  But being covert and sneaky by nature, they rarely openly express their deranged value system.

However, evey now and then one of them speaks candidly.  Take Diogenes Lamp, a man so arrogant that he has had a statue of his own head created, and posted a photo of it on his site:

 

‘Red Eye’ on Fox News made a very important point last night. The death of Anna Nicole Smith reminds us what a sick world we live in, where non-existent tosh like man-made global warming can so easily distract us from the things that really matter, such as the messed-up, agonising lives of supermarket celebrities.

It's not like we didn't know this is what you believe, but it's useful when you say it so plainly.  Thank you Mr Lamp!

In a similar vein, the equally Anna Nicole Smith-obsessed Matt Hayden reveals his bizarre conviction that "commies" killed Marilyn Monroe.

Well why would that have been, Matt?  Please do enlighten (or should that be enrighten?) us ...

Fellow travellers, I'm sure that you are aware of Sister Nature's ongoing campaign to subvert the "civilization" paradigm.  There was the assassination of Steve Irwin, plus at least two other stingray attacks.  And have you notice how many shark attacks there have been lately?

Much of this sassy culture jamming is occurring in the ocean, beyond realms dominated by huMANity.  But it seems that Sister Nature has widened the battlefront, because here is an example of resistance by a non-human person cruelly confined in a concrete pool.   

"Pig" is a dugong who decided he was mad as hell, and he wasn't gonna take this anymore!  So he attacked one of his tormentors. 

Yay Pig!  Fight the power!

My feline fellow traveller Jocelyn and I have been assessing the results of our latest comment-focused peace campaign at these two sites.  Together we will retire to the isolation tank for a long meditation session to seek inspiration for a new campaign.   

But while on the subject of comments, this time on this blog: 

New fan:  As I have repeatedly affirmed on this blog and others:  I AM NOT A SATIRE!  I do exist on the temporal plane just like you (although I do spend much of my time on higher ones, of course).

Old fan:  I do agree with your opinion of the appalling Herr Hayden.  And it is very empowering to receive your support.  However, I would appreciate it if you refrain from using the "c" word in future.  Sassy sisters read this blog, remember! 

And no, Herr Hayden didn't have me locked away.  But I can tell you this: he has tried to abduct Jocelyn on several occasions.  And reliable contacts inform me that he has been in touch with various underworld figures with the intention of having me terminated -- terminated with extreme prejudice! 

He will not succeed in this.  My telepathic abilites will always keep me one step ahead of Hayden and his thugs.  However, even if one of his "sharp" shooters does strike it lucky and hits his mark, I will survive.  I am immortal, remember!
