The vindication of Germaine Greer
Not so long ago appalling peenie wavers were sneering and jeering at sassy sister Germaine Greer because she claimed the stingray attack that killed Steve Irwin was "nature's revenge".
Well, here's news of another stingray "attack". Like Irwin the "victim" was an appalling Australian male, and he was also stabbed in the chest. Unlike Irwin he survived, unfortunately.
Nazis, do you seriously still think that both "attacks" were just freak accidents? I think even you would have to admit this is a concerted campaign of resistance by Sister Nature.
Clearly, Germaine Greer deserves an apology.

Impending extinction cheered
The appalling Matt Hayden continues his offensive campaign against all the things we hold dear. Now he gloats over the looming catastrophe facing that magnificent denizen of the deep, the shark.
He also presumes to speak on behalf of seals, which I think is most presumptious -- as well as speciesist -- of him.
Matt, what gives you the right to say that seals will be "damn glad" if sharks die out? Hmm? Hmm?

Offensive, as usual
Readers of this blog are no doubt aware of the right-wing blogger Matt Hayden. When not ranting about our fellow travellers, he's making tasteless jokes about oppressed minorities.
Here, for instance, he cruelly mocks a recently deceased soccer player and the horizontally challenged in a grossly insensitive attempt at surreal humour.
Just pathetic.
