Real terror ignored
Why is there all this concern about some so-called "terror" plot to bring down several airplanes? I mean, those planes were going to be flying to America, so the passengers were clearly far from innocent.
Why not be concerned about actual violence being committed against the truly innocent? Like in this appalling "accident" in which several non-human persons were killed.
I know that the right-wingers who stalk this blog will find this story amusing, but Jocelyn and I are most upset. Ever since we saw March of the Penguins we feel a deep sense of affinity with the cute flightless birds. The death of a penguin anywhere, any time lessens us all as a species. (Unless of course it's this kind of penguin.)
